For the last decade, interdisciplinary research in archaeology has ceased to be prohibitive, given that technological advancements, with considerable improvements brought to methodological approaches, have transformed it into an indispensable tool of the specialists from the field. The dual spatial-temporal character of archaeology requires interventions of the most varied sort, particularly from the exact sciences. This is also the case of this proposal, which aims to make an analysis as extensive as possible of the human settling patters, as well as of the internal organisation of the Cucutenian settlements from Northeastern Romania, aspects that have been unevenly and particularly insufficiently investigated up to this moment.
